The task given to us was to make a music magazine front cover given the above images and the following stories and mast head. This task was challenging as we had a time limit presented to us and had to adapt to a unique genre and appeal to a young female target audience.
The design of this magazine is young and is designed to appeal to a young audience, it is because of this I wanted a bold mast head and two contrasting colours for the back ground (Blue & Red). I cut the photos available to us and turned them from being long shots to medium close ups. I wrote each story in bold young colours which are appealing to a young demographic.
Literary techniques involved the use of exclamation marks, three grouped full stops for effect to the audience implying a pause once read. Any quotes used were done in italics for effect showing that they are direct speech.
